Change of Company Secretary

Bristol Water plc announces the appointment of Helen Hancock as Company Secretary with effect from 30 May 2019.  

Helen is a solicitor and was until recently a partner at Simmons & Simmons heading up the Banking Group in Bristol and was a founding member of the firm's debt capital markets practice. Helen is a Fulbright Fellow in US Securities and Investments Law.

Mel Karam said "that he and the Board were delighted that Helen had joined the company to strengthen both the legal the executive team.  Helen will be a great asset and will provide additional support to the Board as we move into the next phase of our business strategy."

This appointment follows the resignation of Colin Caldwell as Company Secretary following a successful period as interim Company Secretary and Head of Legal Property & Compliance at Bristol Water.
