Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Portmeirion Group PLC (AIM: PMP), the manufacturer and worldwide distributor of high-quality homewares under the Portmeirion, Spode, Royal Worcester, Pimpernel and Wax Lyrical brands, is pleased to announce the appointment of Angela Luger (née Spindler) to the Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 March 2019. 

Angela has a wealth of high level general management experience.  Most recently she was Chief Executive of N Brown Plc, prior to which she was CEO of private equity backed retailer, The Original Factory Shop Limited.  In addition, she has held senior executive positions at Debenhams PLC, ASDA Group Limited and the Mars Corporation. She served as a Non-Executive Director of Manchester Airport Group and is currently a Non-Executive Director at Distribuidora Internacional de Alimentacion, S.A. (DIA group) which is an IBEX listed food retail business.
