Change of Auditor

Highlands, the London-listed natural resources company, announces that there has been a competitive tender process for appointment as the Company's auditor. As a result of this process, the Board has approved the proposed appointment of PKF Littlejohn LLP as the Company's auditor.

Saffery Champness LLP ('Saffery Champness') has been the auditor for the Company since its IPO and the Company's Board of Directors extends its appreciation to Saffery Champness for its services. Saffery Champness has resigned as the Company's auditor and has confirmed to the Company that there are no matters connected with it ceasing to hold office that need to be brought to the attention of the members or creditors of the Company for the purposes of section 519 of the Companies Act 2006.
