Bloomsbury's Kingdom of Ash, by Sarah J. Maas, tops the bestseller lists in the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland

Kingdom of Ash, the epic conclusion to Sarah J Maas' #1 New York Times bestselling Throne of Glass series, published by Bloomsbury, has topped bestseller lists across the world in its first week on sale.

In the US it is #1 on the New York Times series list, #1 Nielsen Bookscan Young Adult list and #1 on five regional independent lists across the US.

In the UK it is #1 on the Nielsen Bookscan TCM Children's Bestseller list, making Sarah J. Maas the only Young Adult author to reach the overall number one slot in the Children's chart in 2018, which she also achieved with A Court of Frost and Starlight in May 2018.

In Australia and New Zealand it is #1 on the Nielsen Bookscan Overall TCM Bestseller list as well as #1 on the Children's Bestseller list.

In Ireland it is #1 on the Irish Times Children's Bestseller list.

On publication day alone, Bloomsbury's Kingdom of Ash social media posts saw 1.2 million impressions across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Tumblr and YouTube. As part of the Kingdom of Ash campaign, Bloomsbury produced a six episode podcast series, which has reached the iTunes charts in 23 countries.

Sarah J. Maas continues to go from strength to strength. Her two series are published in over 35 languages with over seven million copies sold worldwide, with three books reaching #1 in the UK Children's charts: Tower of Dawn, A Court of Wings and Ruin and A Court of Frost and Starlight. Empire of Storms, from the Throne of Glass series, remained in the US top ten for over ten weeks, and Tower of Dawn stayed on the New York Times series bestseller list for 13 weeks.
