Rockfire Resources plc

("ROCK" or "the Company")

Extension drilling starts at Double Event

Rockfire Resources plc (LON: ROCK), the resource company focussed on copper and gold exploration, is pleased to inform shareholders that reverse circulation drilling commenced on Thursday 8th November at the western extension of the Double Event Prospect in Queensland, Australia.

Chief Executive Officer of Rockfire Resources, David Price commented:

"Rockfire is an active and aggressive explorer and we are pleased to have the drill rods turning again at our Double Event Prospect, which is part of the Lighthouse tenement. Double Event represents a 3km-long quartz vein-hosted mineralising system, which outcrops at surface and has multiple old gold workings along its length."

"Rockfire drilled the eastern extremity of the 3km trend during June 2018, with 93% of holes intersecting gold mineralisation including 1m @ 6.0 g/t Au, 4m @ 1.2 g/t Au, 3m @ 1.3g/t Au, 1m @ 4.8g/t Au, 2m @ 4.0 g/t Au and 3m @ 2.1 g/t Au. Significant silver up to 30 g/t (1 oz/t) is associated with the gold. Importantly, most of the gold intersections were within the top 25m from surface."

"The current drill program will test the western extremity of the 3km trend, where historical rock samples returned peak assays of 61 g/t Au, 40 g/t Au and 18.3 g/t Au. This section of the system also hosts more than 20 historical, shallow gold workings from the late 1800's. This round of drilling will again test near-surface gold potential with approximately 12 holes ranging from 40m to 80m deep. The market will be updated at the conclusion of this drilling phase, which is expected to be approximately 10 days of drilling."
