Confirmation of Board Changes

Active Energy, the London quoted international biomass based renewable energy and forestry management business, announces that further to the announcement of 8 October 2018, Richard Spinks has now formally stepped down from his role on the board of Active Energy to focus on his other business interests including the Group's subsidiary business, Timberlands International Ltd ('Timberlands').

Active Energy is cognisant that the Group's Board will now temporarily comprise of only two Directors.  As such the Group's management team are currently evaluating potential new directors to strengthen the Board.  Further announcements will be made regarding the Group's board composition in due course.

Active Energy Chief Executive Officer, Michael Rowan, said, "I would like to thank Richard for his significant contributions to the team during his tenure as a director of Active Energy and I look forward to continuing to benefit from his expertise in his new focussed position at Timberlands."
