Issue of equity

Cambian Group plc ("Cambian") announces that, following notifications the Company has received from participants in the Cambian Share Plans wishing to exercise their options, applications have been made to the FCA and the London Stock Exchange, respectively, for 1,911,996 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the share capital of the Company (the "Shares") to be admitted to the premium listing segment of the Official List and to trading on the Main Market. It is expected that admission of the Shares will become effective and dealings in the Shares will commence on or around 17 October 2018. The new Ordinary Shares shall rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares in the Company. 

Following admission of the for 1,911,996 new Ordinary Shares, the Company's issued share capital will consist of 186,110,742 Ordinary Shares with voting rights and that figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
