Involuntary manslaughter case - court of appeal decision

In the file where OMV Petrom S.A. is accused of involuntary manslaughter, the court of appeal - Ploiesti Court of Appeal - ruled in the sense that: it admitted the appeals declared by OMV Petrom S.A. and the civil parties against the criminal sentence pronounced by the court of first instance on March 6, 2018, it completely annulled the appealed sentence and it sent the cause to the first instance for re-judgment.

The accusation is referring to an incident which occurred near one of the company's wells located in Aricestii Rahtivani in Prahova County, where the victim was found dead.
