Appointment of Corporate Broker and Financial Adviser

The Board of Gabelli Merger Plus+ Trust plc ("the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Cantor Fitzgerald Europe ("Cantor") as a financial adviser and corporate broker with immediate effect.

The Company looks forward to working with Cantor for the benefit of its existing and prospective shareholders. The relationship will enhance the Company's communications and expand its reach in the marketplace coupled with Cantor's standard brokerage services.
