Directorial Change

M&C Saatchi plc announces that Jamie Hewitt, Group Finance Director, has informed the Board of his decision to pursue other career opportunities, having worked at M&C Saatchi for almost 15 years. Jamie has a 12 month notice period and will remain in his position until a successor has been recruited to ensure an orderly handover.

Jeremy Sinclair, Chairman of M&C Saatchi, said:

"As group FD, Jamie has done a fantastic job. Our profits have gone from around £10m to £26m, dividends from 3.60p a share to 9.53p. What's equally remarkable, is that he has managed at the same time to be an extremely likeable human being. We will miss him."

Jamie Hewitt said:

We have followed a unique strategy of starting new businesses with exceptionally talented teams, managing to deliver market-beating growth for 19 out of 20 years.
