Announcement of Intention to Launch an Offer for Subscription

The Directors of Baronsmead Venture Trust plc ("the Company") are pleased to announce that the Company intends to launch a new offer for subscription ("the Offer") during the 2018/19 tax year. The current intention is for the Company and Baronsmead Second Venture Trust plc to raise up to £25 million in aggregate.

Full details of the Offer will be contained in a prospectus that is expected to be published in early 2019.  A further announcement will be made when the prospectus is available.
