Graphinks Product Launch

Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, is pleased to announce the formal launch of Graphinks, the latest addition to Versarien's range of commercially available 2D materials.

Graphinks has recently been trademarked by Versarien and is the brand under which the Company's range of proprietary graphene inks will be marketed.  Produced by the Company's subsidiary Cambridge Graphene, Graphinks is a range of high performance, electrically conductive, graphene inks suitable for a wide range of printing processes, substrates and applications, including flexible electronics and antennas.

Graphinks are produced using a scalable production process, developed at the Cambridge Graphene Centre, University of Cambridge. The production process allows for a range of ink formulations to be manufactured in order to meet the requirements of different printing methods and substrates.  Graphinks are aqueous, environmentally friendly and non-toxic.

Graphinks is the latest formal addition to Versarien's high performance 2D material product range, alongside Nanane, a high purity, low defect graphene and Hexotene, a few layer hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) nanoplatelet powder with large lateral dimensions.  The range is further supported by few layer graphene and graphene oxide powders suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.

Commenting, Neill Ricketts, CEO of Versarien stated:  "The introduction of Graphinks into our stable of 2D materials further widens the ability of Versarien to deliver innovative solutions for industry.  There are numerous potential applications for Graphinks, which can be customised to meet the individual requirements of customers, and we anticipate substantial commercial demand."
