Committee changes

As announced on 8 September 2017 and 27 February 2018 respectively, John Reizenstein, former Chief Financial Officer, and Andrew Palmer, former Independent Non-Executive Director, have today stepped down from the Board of Direct Line Insurance Group plc.

Following their elections as Directors at today's Annual General Meeting,

Gregor Stewart, Independent Non-Executive Director, has been appointed as Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Board Risk Committee,

Mark Gregory, Independent Non-Executive Director, has been appointed as Chair of the Investment Committee and a member of the Audit Committee, and

Penny James, Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed as a member of the Investment Committee.

In addition, Danuta Gray has been appointed as Chair of the Remuneration Committee in place of Clare Thompson, who has stepped down as Chair, but remains a member of the Remuneration and Audit Committees.

This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of Listing Rule 9.6.11.
