NOVATEK Wins the Sustainability Impact Assessment Award

Moscow, 27 April 2018. PAO NOVATEK ("NOVATEK" and/or the "Company") was announced as the winner of the "Change Management. Visionaries." award. The Company's Sustainability Report was recognized as the winner in the category "Disclosure of Information on Social Impact".

NOVATEK's Chairman of the Management Board Leonid Mikhelson noted: "We constantly strive to improve our business processes in accordance with sustainable business principles, and retain the best global practices in all areas of sustainable development. Since 2004, we have published the Company's social and environmental reports in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) principles, providing all our stakeholders with sufficient information on the Company's operations. This award is a positive confirmation that we are moving in the right direction by increasing the level of non-financial information disclosure".

Note 

"Change Management. Visionaries." award was held for the first time in 2018 and it is Russia's first-ever professional award in sustainability impact assessment. Its main goal is to promote the implementation of impact-oriented approaches in social and environmental decision-making.
