Greggs plc (the "Company") announces the following transaction by a person discharging managerial responsibility ("PDMR") in ordinary shares of the Company with a nominal value of £0.02 ("Shares") of which it was notified on 26 March 2018.

Roger Whiteside, acquired 44,103 Shares by exercising an option granted on 26 March 2015 pursuant to the Company's Performance Share Plan.

The grant was made at an option price of £nil per Share and was subject to performance conditions which were subsequently achieved.
