Elementis plc announces completion of sale

of Surfactants for EUR 39 million

Further to the announcement made on 12 December 2017, Elementis plc announces that, having received the necessary regulatory approvals, it has today completed the sale of the Surfactants business located in Delden, The Netherlands to Kolb Distribution AG ("Kolb") for a cash consideration on of EUR 39 million.

All the terms of the transaction remain as outlined in the announcement made on 12 December 2017.
