CTT – Correios de Portugal, S.A. ("CTT") hereby informs that between 9 June and 15 July of 2016 will take place the opening of 50 additional Banco CTT, S.A. ("Banco CTT") branches in the Retail Network of CTT, thereby doubling the physical presence of Banco CTT by the end of the above-mentioned period.

This second opening phase to the public is in line with the launch schedule of Banco CTT, aimed at reaching 200 CTT Retail Network post offices by the end of 2016, as presented at the CTT Capital Markets Day on 19 November 2015.

In the 52 branches that Banco CTT currently operates (head office branch and 51 CTT post offices) the accounts openings and deposits collections remain in line with the pace disclosed to the market by reference to 31 March 2016 (two weeks after the launch of Banco CTT to the general public). On 31 May 2016, Banco CTT had opened more than 13.000 current accounts for new clients and captured €33.6 million of customer deposits.
