RELEASE CONCERNING THE CONTINUATION OF BES' LIQUIDATION

Banco Espírito Santo, S.A. – Em Liquidação ("BES") informs that the judicial order for the continuation of BES' liquidation proceedings and for the summoning of BES' creditors and other concerned parties has already been issued in the proceeding which is pending under number 18588/16.2T8LSB of the 1st Commerce Section of the Central Division of the Lisbon District Court ("1ª Secção de Comércio da Instância Central do Tribunal Judicial da Comarca de Lisboa"), which has been advertised by an announcement which can also be consulted at http://www.bes.pt/Comunicados/Anuncio%20despacho%20de%20prosseguimento%20 e%20citacao%20credorese%20outros%20interessados.pdf (only in Portuguese language).

BES' Liquidation Committee has been appointed, and is composed by:

• César Bento Nunes Brito;
• Miguel Morais Alçada;
• Joana Soares Martins.
