Sonae SGPS, SA (Sonae) hereby announces that, its subsidiary Sonae MC SGPS, SA (Sonae MC) concluded the sale and leaseback transaction of the property where Sonae MC operates a Continente hypermarket, located in the Rio Sul Shopping. This transaction totaled 27.8 million euros and has generated an estimated capital gain of 12.2 million euros. Following this operation, Sonae MC's freehold ownership is at 45%*.

This transaction is aligned with Sonae's disclosed strategy concerning the monetization of its real estate assets, while also maintaining adequate operational flexibility.
