Fitch Ratings affirms Banco BPI´s rating at BBB and upgrades its long-term senior preferred debt and the long-term deposits ratings

Banco BPI, S.A. informs that the international rating agency Fitch Ratings, following a recent review of its bank rating criteria, has upgraded Banco BPI´s long-term senior preferred debt rating from BBB to BBB+ and rated, for the first time, Banco BPI´s long-term deposits, assigning a BBB+ rating. Banco BPI rating was affirmed at BBB. The Outlook of Banco BPI´s rating was revised from "Stable" to "Negative".

Banco BPI long-term debt is rated investment grade by the three international agencies - Fitch Ratings, Moody's and S&P Global Ratings - and the long-term deposits are rated by Fitch Ratings and Moody's, in both cases investment grade.
