Disclosure of Material Information

Mozelos, Portugal 18th June 2020 - In compliance with the provisions of line a), paragraph 1 of Article 248 of the Portuguese Securities Code, CORTICEIRA AMORIM, SGPS, SA ("CORTICEIRA AMORIM") informs the general public and its shareholders in particular of the following:

• $1.$ CORTICEIRA AMORIM, through its subsidiary AMORIM BARTOP - Investimentos e Participações, SA, a part of the Cork Stoppers Business Unit (UN) that develops and produces capsulated stoppers for the spirits segment, has acquired 30% of ELFVERSON & Co AB, headquartered in Påryd, Sweden.
• 1. Under the terms of the agreement signed in January 2018, by which 70% of the share capital of ELFVERSON & Co AB was acquired, the Swedish company Vätterledens Invest AB called its sales option on the 30% that remained in its ownership for the amount of 1.92 million euros.
• 1. ELFVERSON & Co AB was founded in 1870 in Kalmar, Sweden and transferred to nearby Påryd in 1912, where it has been active ever since, producing the high quality wooden tops for capsulated stoppers (bartops) that are used by large groups in the spirits industry.
