ANNOUNCEMENT

Banco BPI informs that today the 2019 and 2020 dividends, totalling 129.7 M.€, were paid. These dividends had been approved by its sole shareholder on 27th March 2020 and 15th April 2021, respectively, but their settlement had been put on hold. The settlement is made now following the communication from the supervisory authorities' whereby the recommendations on dividend distributions during the COVID-19 pandemic ceases to apply after the 30th of September.
