CTT – Correios de Portugal, S.A. ("CTT" or "Company") considering the news released today hereby informs:

CTT emphasizes that the Company always pays close attention to market opportunities, having received expressions of interest with a view to a potential acquisition of a qualified minority holding in the share capital of Banco CTT.

The parties have been developing contacts in this regard, which are, however, still at a preliminary stage. CTT will keep the regulators and the market informed of any relevant development, which at this point in time seems premature.
