Sonaecom, SGPS, S.A. ("Sonaecom") informs that, on this date, its subsidiary Sonae Investment Management - Software and Technology, SGPS, S.A. ("Bright Pixel Capital") and remaining shareholders have completed the sale of the total share capital and voting rights of Maxive - Cybersecurity, SGPS, S.A. ("Maxive"), to Thales Europe, S.A.S ("Thales") further to the agreement reached with the latter on May 17th, 2022.

The transaction has an underlying Enterprise Value of the target of Eur 120,000,000,00 and has a positive impact on the consolidated results of Sonaecom amounting to approximately Eur 64.800.000,00.

With this transaction, Bright Pixel Capital continues to carry out an active management strategy of its portfolio of technology-based companies, with the aim of consolidating its position as a reference international investor, while reinforcing the growth path and relevance in the global market of Maxive and its subsidiaries S21sec and Excellium, which represents a clear opportunity for the latter and its people.
