MOODY'S UPGRADES BPI'S RATINGS

Moody's upgrades Banco BPI's deposits to A2, Mortgage Covered Bonds to Aaa and Public Sector Covered Bonds to Aa2

Banco BPI, S.A. informs that the rating agency Moody's has upgraded Banco BPI's long-term deposit ratings from A3 to A2, with a Stable Outlook, following the upgrade of Portugal's rating announced on 17 November.

The rating agency affirmed the ratings of Banco BPI and its long-term senior debt at Baa1, with a Stable Outlook.

Moody's also upgraded the ratings of Banco BPI's Mortgage Covered Bonds, from Aa2 to Aaa, and Public Sector Covered Bonds, from Aa3 to Aa2.
