NOS and Vodafone Portugal reached an agreement to develop and share dark fibre in around 1.1 million homes nationwide. With this agreement, and considering the agreement already signed between the parties in 2017, NOS and Vodafone Portugal will now share fibre access to around 3.9 million homes.

The partnership implies sharing an equivalent amount of investment and presupposes that the two companies maintain total autonomy in the design of commercial offers, as well as in the choice of technological solutions they decide to implement.

The companies are also guaranteed complete independence and confidentiality of customer relationship and information management.

Sharing this infrastructure promotes a more dynamic market, by creating more competition, provision of higher quality services and more choice, for a growing number of consumers and businesses.
