SACI group acquires Intercap, S.r.l. reinforcing offer for the sparkling wine segment

OORTICEIRA AMORIM, S.G.PS., S.A. ("CORTICEIRA AMORIM"), hereby informs the market and its shareholders that:

1. The Italian group SACI, owned equally by CORTICEIRA AMORIM (through its subsidiary AMORIM CORK, SGPS, S.A.) and the Getto family, has reached an agreement to acquire 100% of the share capital of the Italian company Intercap S.r.l. ( "Intercap"), based in Canelli (Piedmont, Italy) for a value of €10 million euros.
1. The acquisition will be carried out in two steps (acquisition of 55% in October 2024 and the remaining 45% in March 2025) to the company Paradigma, belonging to Mr. Graziano Bocchino, who will continue to support and contribute with his know-how and entrepreneurial vision.
1. Intercap, created in 1986, is specialized in the production of surbouchage capsules for sparkling wines and still wines, with sales in more than 40 countries and the Italian market representing around 70% of its turnover, which, in 2023, stood at 13 million euros. The company employs 60 people, having its industrial base in Canelli, with branches in France, the United States of America and Chile.
1. This acquisition reinforces the SACI group's skills in this area, allowingit to offer a more comprehensive offer for the sparkling wine segment, with services and a range of products capable of meeting the demands of the market.
