Regarding the news disseminated today about the decision of the General Court of the European Union (GCEU), PHAROL clarifies that the amount of 13.1 million euros related to the case has already been previously paid by Oi, which held the responsibility for it. This amount was subsequently reduced in 2022, as communicated to the market on January 25, 2022.
PHAROL, with Oi's agreement, appealed the non-acceptance of the corrected amount in 2022. The decision of non-acceptance by the GCEU, which has now been issued, relates to this appeal.
The financial impact of this decision on PHAROL is nil.
PHAROL will assess the need to adopt new procedures.
