Fitch Ratings upgrades Banco BPI's rating to 'A-'

Banco BPI, S.A. informs that the rating agency Fitch Ratings has upgraded Banco BPI's longterm rating from 'BBB+' to 'A-', with a Stable Outlook, following the rating upgrade of its shareholder CaixaBank, announced on the 4th December.

The rating agency also upgraded the ratings on Banco BPI long-term senior preferred debt and long-term deposits from 'A-' to 'A'.
