The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Earnings more than doubled for the first two quarters of 2003 Again, earnings increased significantly for the first two quarters of 2003. Earnings before taxes for that period were 2.24 M EUR, more than double the 0.94 M EUR in earnings for the first two quarters of 2002. Earnings per share increased to 0.25 EUR (vs 0.10 EUR for the same period in 2002). Revenues were 25.72 M EUR (vs 31.90 M EUR for the same period in 2002). The yield on revenue before taxes fand depreciations or the first two quarters of 2003 rose to 19.63% (vs 11.25% for the same period in 2002), with a yield on revenue before taxes of 20.39% for the second quarter of 2003 alone. Thanks to the continuing increase of profitability, 3U has created a perfect base for future increase in revenue resulting from its acquisition strategy. The focus on increased profitability will again prove successful throughout the increase in revenue resulting from the recent acquisition of OneTel in July 2003, and several future acquisitions. 3U has liquid assets and near to liquid assets totaling 57 M EUR.
