Revenue for the third quarter 2003 rising to more than 19 Million Euro as expect Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Revenue for the third quarter 2003 rising to more than 19 Million Euro as expected After the takeover of OneTel the revenue for the 3U Group increased to 19.2 Million Euro for the third quarter 2003 (Q2/2002: 18.5 Million Euro) and was therefore improved by more than 60 % when compared to the last quarter (Q2/2003: 11.93 Million Euro). Thereby a net profit of 0.5 Million Euro was achieved (Q3/2002: -0.3 Million Euro). The tax advantages compensated to a large extend the burden of the result before taxes of -0.3 Million Euro for the third quarter 2003 which was caused by the expenses for the acquisition of OneTel and goodwill write offs. 3U invested a total of 9.6 Million Euro in the third quarter, more than in any other quarterly period so far. Beside of the acquisition of OneTel the company invested in the purchase of an IN (intelligent network) platform and the very extensive upgrading of its network in Germany. These investments should accelerate the growth and contribute already in 2004 to a significant increase in revenue and profit. The business plan for the year 2004 is anticipating a result of more than 1 Euro per share with a turnover in excess of 100 Million Euro.
