As disclosed today in its Half-yearly report 2019, 3i Group plc (and its subsidiaries) ('3i Group') did not participate in the recent equity placing by the Company of 81 million new ordinary shares in October 2019.  3i Group's holding now represents 30.19% (31 March 2019: 33.35%) of the ordinary shares of the Company, reflecting the increase in the total issued ordinary share capital following the equity placing.  3i Group remains a substantial shareholder of the Company as defined by the Listing Rules.
