ANNOUNCEMENT

CIMPOR – Cimentos de Portugal, SGPS, S.A., hereby informs that the Shareholders' General Meeting held today approved the annual reports for 2007 and all the other proposals submitted, namely:

• the proposal for the appropriation of 2007 profits, according to which a gross dividend of 0.23 euros per share will be paid; and
• the proposal for the election of Mr. João José Lopes da Silva as an Audit Committee alternate member until the end of the mandate in progress (2005/2008).
