CHEMRING GROUP PLC

TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES - CORRECTION

Chemring Group PLC (the "Company") announces that on 26 January 2018 it transferred 410,104 ordinary shares of 1p each from treasury in satisfaction of the vesting of conditional awards made on 26 January 2015 under the Chemring Group Performance Share Plan 2006.

Following the above transaction, the Company holds a total of 1,788,710 ordinary shares as treasury shares and the total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held in treasury) is 279,850,912.

This announcement corrects the announcement released earlier today.
