NOVATEK Wins the National Environmental Award

Moscow, 21 December 2017. PAO NOVATEK ("NOVATEK" and/or the "Company") announces that its project "Corporate Greenhouse Gas Emissions Control System" was recognized as the winner of the 2017 National Environmental Award named after Vladimir Vernadskiy in the nomination "Science for Ecology". The Award is held annually in order to identify and promote the projects implemented in the field of environmental protection and environmental safety.

The Corporate Greenhouse Gas Emissions Control System developed by the Company's experts ensures effective emissions management and timely use of emission reduction mechanisms.

According to the First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board Alexander Fridman, "The Company pays great attention to environmental issues and environmental protection. NOVATEK became a winner of the National Environmental Award several times already. The new award received this year confirms that we are moving in the right direction. NOVATEK ends the Russian "Year of the Ecology" as a winner of this prestigious award".
