Shareholders holding shares in certificated form who wish to participate in the Scrip Dividend Scheme should return their mandate forms (available from SSE's website, www.sse.com) to the registrar, Link Asset Services, to arrive no later than 16 February 2018.

Shareholders holding shares in certificated form who wish to withdraw from the Scrip Dividend Scheme should submit their written request to withdraw to Link Asset Services to arrive no later than 16 February 2018.

Shareholders who hold their shares in uncertificated form should consult their Crest sponsors as appropriate.
