Final dividend for the year ended 16 September 2017 

Further to the announcement released earlier today by Associated British Foods plc (the 'Company') of its final results for the year ended 16 September 2017, the Company confirms that, subject to the approval of shareholders at the Company's AGM to be held on 8 December 2017, a final dividend of 29.65 pence per share will be paid on 12 January 2018 to shareholders on the Company's register of members at the close of business on 15 December 2017.

The Company operates a dividend reinvestment plan ('DRIP').  The final date for receipt or withdrawal of elections under the DRIP will be 19 December 2017.
