Results of AGM

The Board of Vast provides the following update in connection with the AGM held earlier today:

Resolution 2 relating to the reappointment of Mr Brian Basham has been withdrawn as Mr Basham has informed the Board that he no longer wanted to be considered for re-election.

As regards Resolutions 7 to 10 relating to the authorities to issue equity share capital and disapplication of pre-emption rights, the Board became aware of technical issues concerning the receipt of proxies and letters of representation that could have affected the outcome of Resoltuions 7 to 10.  Consequently, the Board decided not to put these Resolutions to the meeting and intends to convene a general meeting as soon as practicable to consider similar resolutions.  Details of the proposed resolutions will be provided in the announcement convening the general meeting and in the associated documentation.

Vast Resources plc is an AIM listed mining and resource development company focussed on the rapid advancement of high quality brownfield projects and recommencing production at previously producing mines.

With this strategy, Vast Resources commissioned two mining operations in 2015; the Manaila Polymetallic Mine in Romania and the Pickstone-Peerless Gold Mine in Zimbabwe.
