SALE OF MICROSCAN COMPLETED

3 October 2017 - Further to the Company's announcement on 30 August, Spectris plc (LSE: SXS),

the productivity-enhancing instrumentation and controls company, today announces that it has completed the sale of its Microscan Systems, Inc. business to Omron Corporation.
