Spire Healthcare appoints new Chief Executive Officer

London, UK, 27 September 2017: Spire Healthcare Group plc (LSE: SPI), one of the UK's leading independent hospital groups, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Justin Ash as its new Chief Executive Officer. Justin will take up his duties on 30 October 2017.

Justin was until recently the CEO of Oasis Healthcare Ltd, a post which he held for nine years, prior to which he was Managing Director of Lloyds Pharmacy.  During his tenure at Oasis Healthcare, the company grew to become the leading independent provider of dental care in the UK, focusing on private care. Justin's earlier career included ten years in senior roles with global consumer businesses.

Simon Gordon will continue as Interim CEO until 30 October, after which he will revert to the Chief Financial Officer role. The Board strongly believes that the combination of Justin and Simon will give Spire a first-rate senior management team to lead the Group's further development.
