Cancellation of Share Premium Account and Utilisation of Special Reserve

Baronsmead Venture Trust plc (the "Company") announces that earlier today the High Court confirmed the cancellation of the share premium account in accordance with the special resolution passed on 14 February 2017.

The special resolution authorised the Directors to apply to the High Court for an order to cancel the Company's share premium account, and to enable the application of the resulting distributable capital reserve to be applied in any manner in which the Company's profits available for distribution are to be applied.

The High Court has confirmed that the Company's special reserve can be applied in any manner in which the Company's profits available for distribution are to be applied.
