Additional Listing

Assura plc ("Assura" or "the Company"), the UK's leading primary care property investor and developer, today announces that, 3,226,687 New Ordinary Shares (the "New Shares") have been issued to the Assura plc Employee Benefit Trust in order to satisfy the third and final vesting of the Value Creation Plan.

Application has therefore been made for the admission of the New Shares to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities ("Admission"). The New Shares will rank pari passu with the Company's existing ordinary shares and Admission is expected to occur at 8.00am on 31 August 2017.

In order to reconcile the Company's issued and allotted share capital with the number of shares admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities, the Company has also made an application for the Admission of 3,543,975 Ordinary Shares which were issued to the Assura plc Employee Benefit Trust in order to satisfy the first vesting of the Value Creation Plan in 2015.

Following the allotment of the New Shares, it is expected that the total number of shares in issue will be 1,827,642,764 (none of which will be held in treasury) and that, accordingly, the total number of voting rights of the Company will be 1,827,642,764.
