AGM Statement

Vp plc, the equipment rental specialist, announces that at the Group's Annual General Meeting held earlier today, all resolutions put to Shareholders by the Board were duly passed.

Speaking at the Annual General Meeting, Jeremy Pilkington, Chairman, commented:

"I am pleased to report that the Group has continued to trade in line with the Board's expectations and has made a positive start to the new financial year.

In the UK, markets remain stable, with infrastructure, construction and housebuilding, in particular, providing good demand for our range of services.

The two acquisitions of Zenith Survey Equipment Ltd and Jackson Mechanical Services (UK) Ltd, both announced in April 2017, are integrating well and have made an encouraging start within the Group.

In our International division, the slow oil and gas market, as anticipated, continues to restrict opportunities, but the specialist test and measurement activities in the Asia Pacific region are trading well.

We are pleased with the start Vp has made to the new financial year, and whilst we remain alert to any changes to market sentiment, we remain confident of delivering another year of progress for the Group."
