Update re Choco Project, Colombia

Bezant (AIM: BZT), the AIM quoted gold and platinum development company, is pleased to announce that its wholly owned Colombian subsidiary, Ulloa Recursos Naturales S.A.S. ("Ulloa"), has received its Registro Unico de Comercializadores de Minerales ("RUCOM") from the Colombian National Mining Agency (ANM - Agencia Nacional de Mineria) in preparation for first commercial production anticipated in mid-August 2017.

The RUCOM enables Ulloa to sell platinum and gold produced from its FKJ-083 licence area located in the Choco region of Western Colombia (the "Choco Project"). The RUCOM was awarded to Ulloa further to its  full compliance with the requirements stipulated in Article 112 of Act 1415 of 2012 and Decree no. 1073 enacted on 25 May 2017. Together with its RUCOM, Ulloa also holds a Certificate of Origin enabling it to sell platinum and gold to regulated metals trading houses both in Colombia and internationally.

The Company is currently continuing the development of its commercial open pit operation at its Choco Project and has now fully commissioned its first processing plant in preparation for commercial production of the upper layers of platinum and gold bearing gravel to commence in mid-August 2017.
