London, UK, 28 July 2017, Spire Healthcare Group plc (LSE: SPI) regrets to announce that Andrew White, a Director of the Company, has passed away following a period of illness.

Garry Watts, Spire's Chairman, commented:

"It is with deep sadness that we make this announcement. Andrew joined the Company in November 2015 and made a significant contribution during his time with us. His enthusiastic and positive approach, all-round common sense and good humour will be deeply missed. Personally I have lost a trusted colleague and friend. We send our sincere condolences to Andrew's wife and family."
