EduTrust Accreditation for Singapore Operations

As part of the implementation of its strategic plan announced in November 2016, and following the improvements made in its Singapore operations, Malvern applied to have its EduTrust Certification in Singapore re-instated. Malvern International is pleased to announce that this application has been approved by the Committee for Private Education (CPE) in Singapore and the certification has been re-instated with immediate effect.

The EduTrust Certification Scheme is a voluntary scheme for private education institutions in Singapore to allow them to benchmark themselves against high standards of management and delivery of educational services. It is a prerequisite for any educational institute seeking to enrol international students. Malvern's certification was ceased in 2013 when some of the EduTrust requirements were not met.

The re-established accreditation of the EduTrust Certification will enable Malvern International Academy in Singapore to attract and enrol international students to its campus and adopt a similar strategy to that of its sister school in London, Malvern House London. The offering will start with English language delivery followed by a few diploma courses. Malvern International Academy is also applying for the registration of a few other new courses that are in demand by the industry and expected to be well received by international students.

The operation has been through two extensive internal reviews followed by major improvements in setting a systemic and robust approach to operations, meeting the regulatory requirements and providing the best service  and quality delivery. This accreditation is a key step in establishing the Singapore school as a centre of excellence in the country and the region."
