Result of General Meeting

The Board of Empiric Student Property plc (ticker: ESP), the owner and operator of premium student accommodation across the UK, announces that at the Company's General Meeting held earlier today, all resolutions proposed were duly passed.

As at the date of the meeting, there were 501,279,071 ordinary shares with voting rights in issue.  Proxies were received by the Company from shareholders before the meeting, as follows:
