Frontier IP Group Plc

("Frontier IP" or the "Group")

New Portfolio Company - MolEndoTech

Frontier IP, which specialises in the commercialisation of intellectual property, is pleased to announce that it has received a 20 per cent. stake in Molendotech Limited ("MolEndoTech"), a spinout company from Plymouth University.

MolEndoTech has been created to develop and commercialise the work of Simon Jackson, Professor of Environment and Human Health within the Plymouth University, Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry.

The MolEndoTech team has developed a rapid assay to screen water for faecal contamination.  Current tests on the market may take hours or even days to show results, whereas MolEndoTech's technology typically produces results in under 15 minutes.  Rapid, point-of-use testing to determine water quality enables more informed decision-making about the use of water and significantly improves the ability to identify and track the pollution source.

A patent has been filed in relation to the technology which has already been granted in the US for recreational waters.  The technology has attracted early interest from industry.

Neil Crabb, CEO, Frontier IP Group plc said:

"We are looking forward to working with Professor Jackson and his team to help accelerate the commercialisation for this promising technology.  We believe that MolEndoTech has an exciting future in the critical area of water quality assurance and are pleased to see the technology is already generating interest in the marketplace."

Professor Simon Jackson, Director of MolEndoTech, said:

"This is a great opportunity to take MolEndoTech's technology to market. Frontier IP has an excellent track record of commercialising technology and we will be working closely with them to commercialise our innovation."
