Result of AGM and Change of Name

Oracle Coalfields PLC (AIM:ORCP), the UK energy developer of a combined lignite mineral resource and mine mouth power plant located in the Thar desert in the south-east of Sindh Province, Pakistan, announces that at its Annual General Meeting held earlier today, all resolutions were duly passed.

Accordingly, shareholders approved the resolution proposing a change of the Company's name to Oracle Power PLC. The name change will become effective, and dealings in the Company's shares under its new name are expected to commence, on or around 27 June 2017. The Company's ISIN number and TIDM will remain unchanged.

The Company's website address will change to: www.oraclepower.co.uk with effect from 27  June 2017.
