Market purchase of Company shares

by the Company's employee benefit trust

Land Securities Group PLC today confirms that on 15 June 2017 ACS HR Solutions Share Plan Services (Guernsey) Limited, acting as Trustee of the Land Securities Deferred Bonus Plan Trust ("Trust"), purchased in the market 500,000 (five hundred thousand) Ordinary shares of nominal value 10 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Shares") at an average price of £10.75p per share.

The Trust holds Shares for the benefit of the Company's employees, and in particular for satisfying the vesting of awards made under the Company's various employee share incentive plans. As such, Robert Noel and Martin Greenslade, as Executive Directors, and Colette O'Shea and Scott Parsons, as other PDMRs, are amongst the potential beneficiaries of the Trust.

Following the above transaction, the Trust holds 1,246,096 Shares for the above purpose, representing 0.16% of the Company's issued share capital with voting rights.
